This little baby took me nearly a week to make, a total of seven working hours. 1,836 seed beads in red, black, and white, plus six 4mm freshwater pearls, several yards of 32-gauge beading wire, and about a foot of green floral tape. The petals are alternating colors; half are black with red outlines, and the other half red with black outlines. The four outer petals each have one diamond in the opposite color from the base petal color. The finished rose is about 4 inches long from the top of the flower to the bottom of the stem; it's roughly two inches in circumference and the stem is exactly two inches long.
